About us

Jack and Boston
In equine facilitated learning the horses show us the way. Our two most important team members are therefore 12-year-old Jack and 8-year-old Boston. They are both Clydesdales.
We don’t want to tell you too much about them, as it’s important that you build your own relationship with them and discover their personalities for yourself. For now, we’ll show you some photos of the boys.
Clydesdales
Clydesdales are a rare breed of draught or ‘heavy’ horse. They are big horses, but also very gentle and sensitive. We will design all sessions so that your interactions with Jack and Boston can be as active or reflective as you want. You won’t ride them, and you can choose when to interact or how much time you spend up-close with them.

Ingrid Lewis
I am a LEAP-qualified equine facilitated learning practitioner and passionate about nature and the environment.
My interest in horses started at the age of five when the local gymnastics club was full and my parents took my brother and me for a riding lesson instead. As they say, one thing led to another and we became hooked on horses. Through my teenage years, a horse called Cobby was my constant companion, confidant, and therapist. I would sit with him for hours under an ancient beech tree while he listened to my problems.
Adult life took me into a non-equine career in the charity sector, where I have spent almost 30 years focusing on human rights, equality, and inclusive education. I have been the managing director of Enabling Education Network for 15 years, benefiting from incredible learning opportunities. I’ve gained insights into surviving and thriving as a leader in one of the most challenging sectors, and developed skills as a coach and mentor.
I have been lucky to have access to horses and nature to help me cope with and reflect on difficult work and personal situations over the years. That’s why I decided to train as an equine facilitated learning practitioner and focus on helping more people access the healing and transformative power of horses and the natural world.
